1

No email address in the field selected above

We were unable to find an email address to validate.
2

Email address is marked as deliverable

If we determine that the risk rating is low we will mark the email address as deliverable.
3

The email address will be marked as undeliverable if it meets two conditions:

1) Has a high risk rating
2) Does not have a valid format
4

Email address is marked as do not send

If the email address is high risk we will mark it as do not send.
5

Email Risk Results

Under this section you have the option of tagging contacts based on email risk. You can tag your contacts based on three different risk level in this section. The three risk levels are:

1

Low risk

We will mark the email address as low risk if it is a valid mailbox, not a catch all, and the mailbox is not full
2

Medium risk

There are various ways arrive at marking an email address as medium risk:

1) We find a potential typo in the email address
2) The email address is disposable
3) The mailbox is valid, but the email address is a catch-all
4) The mailbox is valid, but the mailbox is full
3

High risk

1) The email address is not valid
2) The domain is not valid
3) The domain doesn’t support receiving emails
4) The domain responded that the mailbox doesn’t exist

Advanced Validation Options

This section will allow to tag or store additional results from the validation process. There will be an additional ten possible results that you can tag your contacts based on.

1

Email is formatted correctly

2

We find a possible typo

3

Select a field to save the recommended correct email address (if applicable)

In the dropdown, select the field you would like to store the recommended correct email address. If we find a potential typo with the domain (ex. @gmial.com) we will provide a recommended fix that you can save onto the contact record.

As part of the email validation process we check the domain for possible typos. If we find what we think is a possible typo we will provide a recommended email address. This isn't a guaranteed recommendation.
4

Mailbox is valid

We can confirm that this is a real mailbox
5

Email is a catch all email

A catch all address is one that essentially handles all emails to a domain that doesn't have an inbox that the email was sent to.
5

Email is disposable

We are only checking if the domain is on a disposable list. Disposable emails are like mailinator email addresses. There is no registration process, a user can check any mailbox on the domain or they are assigned a unique/temporary address for receiving a handful of emails
6

Email is a free email

Anyone can sign up for an email address at that domain.
7

Email is a Role email

Likely a valid email address like sales@example.com or support@example.com. Instead of bob.smith@example.com which would indicate the email would go to an individual, “Role” accounts are more likely to go to a shared/group inbox or ticketing system.
8

Email's mailbox is full

9

Email's service is unavailable

10

We cannot verify the email's domain
