File Box Uploader

OVERVIEW

FileBox Uploader allows for your contacts to upload files to the contact's filebox in your CRM application.

File Box Uploader Configuration Options

Choose File Upload Type

In this section, you will find the options for building your FileBox Uploader tool. Follow along in your PlusThis app, or by viewing the numbered step in the screenshots.

Upload Wizard Creation Set Up

What instruction do you want to include?

Enter the text you would like to include as instruction text (ie. "Step 1: Please upload your resume."

Allow all file types

By default, this toggle is set to "On". If you would like to limit the file types that are allowed, switch the toggle to "Off"

If you toggle the switch to "Off" you will be prompted to select which file extensions you would like your contacts to be able to upload. Check the appropriate file extensions.

Rename the file after upload

By default, this toggle is set to "Off". If you would like to rename the file name upon upload, switch this toggle to "On".

If you switch the toggle to "On", you can rename the file upon upload. Enter the name you would like the uploaded file to be renamed to in the field provided.

Which tag should be applied when this file is uploaded?

In the drop-down, select what tag you would like to be applied to the contact when the file has been uploaded.

Add File Upload Step

For each file you would like uploaded, you will need a new step. To add another step, click the "Add File Upload Step" button. Repeat steps 2-5 for each step you add/create.

Display this message when all files have been uploaded:

Enter any text you would like to appear after the files have been uploaded.

Disable contact id verification

If you are planning on using this on a page that doesn't expose contact information, switch this toggle to "On".

Redirect to webpage after upload

By default, this toggle is set to "No". If you would like to redirect to a webpage after the upload has been completed, switch this toggle to "Yes".

How many files should the user be able to upload?

In the drop-down, select how many files you would like uploaded at one time. You can select a number between 1 and 10.

Enter a name for your tool in this field. The name is solely for use inside of PlusThis, and will not be visible to customers.

Implementation Types

My Website

Have contacts upload files on your page that will be stored on that contact's File Box in their contact record.

On the Usage and Instructions page, copy the code under the ‘My Website’ tab.

Embed the code in an HTML element on your page where you would like the Uploader to display.

Be sure to pass contact details to the page the Filebox Uploader is embedded on. You can do this using the link generator, or by passing details through an Infusionsoft webform submission.

Thank You Page

Have contacts upload files on your Thank You page that will be stored on that contact's File Box in their contact record.

On the Usage and Instructions page, copy the code under the ‘Infusionsoft Hosted Thank You Page’ tab.

In Infusionsoft, open your webform settings, and click open the Thank-You page tab. Embed the code on the Thank You page where you would like the Uploader to display.

CustomerHub

Have contacts upload files on your AccessAlly page that will be stored on that contact's File Box in their contact record.

On the Usage and Instructions page, copy the code under the CustomerHub tab.

Embed the code in an HTML element on your page where you would like the Uploader to display.

IMPORTANT: Be sure to embed this tool on Gated-Only pages that requires the contact to be logged in to view the page.

CustomerHub

Have contacts upload files on your Customer Hub page that will be stored on your Google Drive. The file can also be stored on that contact's record as a Google Drive Link in a custom field.

Memberium

Have contacts upload files on your Memberium page that will be stored on that contact's File Box in their contact record.
